Farming with Purpose in Waiheʻe Valley

From guided tours to farm-grown products, we share the land through meaningful experiences.

Welcome to Waiheʻe Valley Plantation

Waiheʻe Valley Plantation is a working farm rooted in stewardship of the land and a long-term commitment to sustainable agriculture. Located in the heart of Waiheʻe Valley, the plantation spans thousands of acres and is home to one of Maui’s largest macadamia farms, along with a diverse range of fruit trees and crops grown throughout the valley.

Our approach to farming is guided by mālama ʻāina. We focus on regenerative practices that support healthy soil, protect surrounding ecosystems, and ensure the land can continue to provide for generations to come. Beyond growing food, the plantation exists as a place of learning, connection, and shared experience.

Through guided tours, farm-grown products, and on-site experiences, we invite visitors to better understand how food is grown, how the land is cared for, and why responsible farming matters. Everything we offer is rooted in respect for the valley and the role it plays in Maui’s agricultural future.

Reflections From the Farm

Michael R.

"Outstanding facility and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We dropped in while waiting for some family to land at the airport. It was a rainy day and they weren’t really giving tours. The folks there dropped everything and showed us around. It wasn’t rushed and they answered all our questions. They are doing some very cool things for sustainability. They also give back to their community. Really enjoyed our time there."

We went not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. This may be the best tour we’ve ever been on! Actually, the farm does much more than macadamia. They are a cooperative which is passionate about farm to table sustainable foods and hydroponic agriculture.

"Fantastic! Get a first hand look at sustainable agriculture that works to give back to Hawaii rather than take from it. You will see coconut trees, banana trees, dragon fruit trees, and macadamia nut trees. Then you will learn the science of hydroponic tomatoes and lettuce. The tour is interesting and educational and the passion of the tour guides is contagious! There are even a few very fun surprises you don’t want to miss. This is a must-see and definitely high value for the ticket price!"
